Tempest is a mixed reality innovator, illusionist, and creative technologist who is advancing augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to create brand-new immersive experiences. He is the founder of the science, illusion, and digital technology consortium magic lab and a Creative Technologist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a Directors Fellow Alumni of the MIT Media Lab.
To give a peek of a joyful, augmented future, Tempest will blend generative AI, mixed reality, storytelling, gestural sensing, and swarm robots. The keynote will feature a live demonstration of how to use new technology in a virtual environment and how this innovative field may be inclusive and equal.
