The KUNA Smart Oasis is an AI-powered newsroom that Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) has unveiled in order to stay on the cutting edge of contemporary media innovations. According to KUNA Director-General Fatma Al-Salem, “KUNA Smart Oasis” will undoubtedly help improve the caliber of media content, the rate at which it is produced, and the veracity of the information.

In her opinion, it will be a crucial instrument for meeting readers’ expectations and aspirations in light of the widespread AI media transition.

According to Al-Salem, AI technology will also make it simpler for the agency’s sections to collaborate by allowing them to share files and information.

The first Gulf and Arab news organization to employ this technology was KUNA, which debuted its metaverse-based platform and virtual anchor (avatar) in May. The project’s main goals are to boost productivity and efficiency, promote creativity, and spur financial investment in artificial intelligence research and development.
