Flutter, an open source platform for mobile app development, was formally introduced by Google. The company revealed that Flutter is currently accessible to developers in beta at World Mobile Congress 2018. The business initially unveiled the toolkit at the Google l/O developer conference the previous year.

The Dart programming language, developed by Google specifically for the production of apps, supports Flutter. The search engine behemoth also pointed out that some developers had already used the tool, and their apps have achieved top rankings on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. With the release of a new open source tool for creating apps, Google is more likely to compete with React Native from Facebook. Additionally, Google launched its product using the WMC as a platform to engage with the biggest mobile-oriented audience worldwide.

Google also mentioned the new features that have been added to Flutter since the developer conference from the previous year. For better tooling and coding to create Flutter apps, Flutter supports Android Studio and Visual Studio Code. Along with right-left text support, the tool now supports the iPhone X as well, thanks to the business. The ability to run the Flutter scripts in the background is one of the most useful additions for developers. Additionally, because developers can easily make changes in the source code and see the results right away in their apps, the SDK does away with the requirement for prototyping tools. As a result, the development process is more thorough and quick than ever. Notably, Flutter does not use a web view but rather internal GPU-accelerated visuals.

Flutter offers creative possibilities for already-existing elements of the apps to speed up and simplify the creation of mobile apps. Instead than writing code for the entire program, developers can add Flutter screens to an already existing project.
