Jaipur, India — Home‑care brand urbanWipe has grabbed headlines after securing a ₹2 crore investment on the popular entrepreneurial TV show Shark Tank India. The deal was clinched with leading investors Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal backing the company as part of its next growth phase.
Founded as a family venture and revived with fresh energy and product innovation, urbanWipe is known for its cleaning and surface‑care products that combine effectiveness with a modern, eco‑friendly appeal. During its Shark Tank India Season 5 pitch, the startup showcased strong consumer traction and repeat purchase behaviour — convincing the Sharks to invest ₹1 crore each.
The investment values urbanWipe at around ₹20 crore, with the funds expected to help the brand scale product lines, expand distribution and accelerate market penetration across retail and e‑commerce channels.
This funding comes amid a flurry of interest in consumer goods startups on Shark Tank India, as investors look to back businesses with clarity of demand, strong branding and clear scale‑up potential.
