By 2026, Toyota expects to sell 1.5 million battery-powered cars annually worldwide.
According to figures provided last month by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, sales of completely electric cars in the European Union (EU) grew by more than half in the first ten months of this year compared to the same period last year. According to the data, for the 10 months ending in October, Toyota held the fifth-largest overall vehicle market share in the European Union.
