Think & Built Bigger Faster Better

25 August, New Delhi, India (ANI): In order to enable Delhi citizens to actively participate in the maintenance of their city by filing complaints relating to various civic issues, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has released its mobile application, “MCD 311.” An official announcement stated that Lt Governor Anil Baijal introduced the mobile app 311 at the Raj Niwas.

The “MCD 311” app is a user-friendly interface where residents can conveniently register their complaints, covering issues like the presence of stray cattle, improper disposal of municipal solid waste, road potholes, and illegal dumping of construction debris (malba).

According to the announcement, this digital channel aims to speed up the procedure for informing authorities of issues and encourage open communication and prompt settlement.

The Central Agency for Quality Management (CAQM), the Department of Environment (GNCTD), and senior MCD officials will all constantly monitor the complaints made through the “MCD 311” app in order to guarantee the effectiveness of this new program.
