The Commonwealth Artificial Intelligence Consortium has extended an invitation to Health Parliament, a prestigious Strategic Business Unit of Digital Health Associates with offices in India. By taking this important step, Health Parliament is demonstrating its dedication to promoting sustainable development through the moral and responsible application of artificial intelligence. Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, the organization’s founder, will now serve as the head of the Commonwealth AI Consortium for Capacity Building, which will comprise the 56 Commonwealth member nations.
The Commonwealth Secretariat’s offer for a collaborative collaboration is a deliberate effort to develop its comprehensive strategy for promoting the ethical and responsible use of AI. The partnership unites prominent universities, international technology companies, and top research centers to pave the way for a time when AI will be effectively used to tackle major global issues.
Health Parliament and Digital Health Academy were fortunate to be invited to join the Commonwealth AI Consortium by the Commonwealth Secretariat. Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, the founder of both organizations, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration and his appointment as the chair of the capacity building working group at the Consortium. We applaud the Commonwealth Leadership for this ground-breaking initiative, which will ensure that the 56 Commonwealth member nations are prepared for the future in terms of utilizing the potential of artificial intelligence. We at the Health Parliament and Digital Health Academy will contribute to and lead some of the workstreams to help the member states catch up with technology adoption because our vision is in line with the objectives and charter of the Commonwealth AI Consortium. We anticipate taking part actively in this AI Consortium.
The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) of 2022 set the mandate for the Commonwealth Artificial Intelligence Consortium (CAIC), which was founded earlier this year. It focuses on equipping citizens with the knowledge and abilities needed to take full advantage of digital innovation and opportunity.
In keeping with the designation of 2023 as the Commonwealth Year of Youth, CAIC lays a special emphasis on involving young people under 30, who make up 60% of the Commonwealth’s total population.
The inclusion of Health Parliament in the CAIC is a prime example of the group’s dedication to improve global health through cutting-edge technology and innovation. The Health Parliament is prepared to make significant advancements toward a more sustainable and technologically advanced future in collaboration with the Commonwealth AI Consortium.
Prior to that, in 2022, the Health Parliament joined the Dynamic Coalition on Digital Health of the UN Internet Governance Forum. Today, Health Parliament is regarded as one of the top think tanks operating at the nexus of healthcare and technology.
