Think & Built Bigger Faster Better

The extended reality (XR) learning software from Talespin, which leverages spatial computing to train employees, was just made available on Meta Quest.

The $500 Meta Quest 3 virtual reality headset was only unveiled the day before. The immersive learning app from Talespin, which was initially created for business usage, is now available to everyone, enabling anybody to explore their virtual worlds and learn useful skills.

Talespin has been at the forefront of using XR technology to reskill and upskill people at Fortune 500 firms since its founding in 2019. Talespin’s app provides a mechanism for people to learn and evaluate the critical skills required by today’s growing workforce by simulating interactions with AI-powered virtual human characters and immersing users in role-playing game (RPG)-style experiences. “Firing Barry,” a training scenario about how to gracefully terminate an elderly employee, was one of its most well-liked examples.

A growing need exists for abilities that promote efficient communication, teamwork, and objective thinking as AI continues to alter enterprises and hybrid work environments become the norm. By offering immersive learning opportunities that support people in developing and mastering fundamental skills, Talespin is addressing this demand and boosting people’s value in a technologically enhanced workplace.

The Talespin app’s standout features include a broad selection of immersive learning materials that cover a wide range of fundamental skills, RPG simulations that immerse students in realistic virtual worlds, interactive lessons that simulate real-world scenarios, personalized feedback for ongoing improvement, and a learning path that is inclusive of students from all backgrounds and goals.

“Essential talents are a secret to bridging divergent viewpoints and achieving our aspirations as humans. According to Kyle Jackson, CEO of Talespin, “immersion into virtual worlds where we may practice skills and gain actual experience is a paradigm change in personal and professional progress. We have had great success using XR to help our customers’ personnel develop their abilities more quickly. We are now happy to make our software available to everyone and to aid in their developmentā€.

Talespin intends to make its acclaimed enterprise immersive learning content titles, like “Where’d Everybody Go?” and “Leading Through Uncertainty,” available to the 20 million users of Meta Quest. To improve the offering, a roadmap of planned content releases, including one from Singularity University, will also be routinely provided.
