Krishnagiri Municipality has launched a mobile app for online tax payment.

Municipal Chairperson Farida Nawab and Commissioner M.R. Vasanthi launch online tax payment in Krishnagiri.

The State government’s app, Citizen Portal, was formally introduced here.

Property tax, water tax, underground drainage fee, trade licence, construction plan management, applications for birth and death certificates, D & O Trade licence, and company licensing can now be paid online without any delay or extended waiting time.

For online payments, the Citizen Portal can be downloaded and accessed using a QR code. The local administration invited residents to utilize the app instead of visiting the municipal office to make payments that could be made online.

Earlier, Municipal Chairperson Farida Nawab formally unveiled the smartphone app, which was greeted by Krishnagiri Municipality Commissioner M.R. Vasanthi.
