It has been announced that Marco Tempest, a creative technologist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, would deliver the keynote address at the IBC2023 Conference.
The IBC2023 Conference will feature a free talk by illusionist and pioneer of mixed reality, Tempest, titled “Virtual Production & the Metaverse: A Future where Everyone Is Invited to Play.”
In order to give attendees a taste of a pleasurable, augmented future, Tempest will provide a lively session with cutting-edge insights combining generative AI, mixed reality, narrative, gestural sensing, and swarm robotics. The keynote address will feature a live demonstration of how to use new technology in a virtual environment and how this emerging profession may be inclusive and equitable.
Through thought leadership and immersive experience development, Tempest advances future technologies, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), to create new immersive experiences. He founded magicLab, a research group that examines illusion and digital technology, and he works as a Creative Technologist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is also an alumni directors fellow at the MIT Media Lab.
On Saturday, September 16, at 1 p.m., Tempest will present in the Forum at the RAI Amsterdam as part of the IBC2023 Conference.
