CrowdStrike announces new VP appointment

Austin / Global — February 11, 2026: Cybersecurity leader CrowdStrike has announced a key leadership appointment to drive regional growth and strengthen its position in the evolving security landscape. The company has named Jonathon Dixon as Vice President and Managing Director for the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region, reflecting CrowdStrike’s ongoing focus on expanding its market reach and accelerating AI-powered cybersecurity adoption across Asia.

In his new role, Dixon — a seasoned cybersecurity and IT executive with over 25 years of experience — will oversee regional sales strategy, operations, and partner engagement across major markets including Japan, Australia, Southeast Asia, and other Asia Pacific economies. He is expected to lead efforts to broaden adoption of CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform, a cloud-native cyber defence suite that uses AI and automation to detect and respond to threats.

Before joining CrowdStrike, Dixon held leadership roles at Verkada and Cloudflare, where he drove go-to-market growth and expanded business footprints across Asia. His deep industry experience and regional insights are seen as strategic assets as organisations in the JAPAC region face increasing cybersecurity challenges, from sophisticated ransomware to AI-driven attacks.

CrowdStrike’s latest appointment underscores the company’s commitment to scaling its global presence and supporting customers in strengthening their cyber resilience — particularly as digital transformation and cloud adoption continue to reshape enterprise security needs.
