Think & Built Bigger Faster Better

Some may think we talk about the Apple Vision Pro too much, but let’s be real—we’re only doing it because we’re excited. Can you really blame us for that? Even though the finest VR headsets now available are amazing, most of them fall far short when it comes to multitasking and workspaces that take advantage of augmented reality.

Having said that, I still have a particular issue with the Vision Pro and the majority of other XR gadgets. Furthermore, they are headsets. I want AR to be as easy to use as putting on a pair of glasses; I don’t want a big, heavy device attached to my face. Like Google Glass (RIP), for example.

At least while driving, since Apple appears to be developing an augmented reality heads-up display for cars. Finally, we’re discussing something that makes it seem like we’re in the future.

Just like I did, you should be aware that this is only a patent application before you get very excited. However, this indicates that Apple is undoubtedly thinking about it.

And it’s awesome! If you need a TL;DR, it may involve seeing objects while driving that appear to be right in front of you without the need for any form of glasses or headsets. There are obviously a ton of uses for this, like allowing the driver to see navigation without taking their eyes off the road or to see media controls, etc.

Getting FaceTime calls on the AR display is one aspect of the invention. In any case, let’s not forget that the product has been undergoing testing for quite some time.

In any case, the existence of this patent indicates that we’re drawing closer to a day when augmented reality is more than just a passing fad and may truly and significantly enhance our lives.
