PETALING JAYA: Shell Malaysia intends to completely enable its new mobile application ‘Shell App,’ which is presently available at 650 service stations, across all 1,010 stations across the country by the end of 2023.
Seow Lee Ming, General Manager of Mobility in Malaysia, stated that the new app is intended to improve the fueling experience by allowing users to purchase fuel from the comfort of their cars.
“Our goal is to improve the customer experience and make things more convenient for them.” The new software is the country’s first fuel payment app to incorporate 3-D Secure verification, which adds an extra layer of protection to optimize a safer user experience against potential fraud and scam risks.
“Convenience through innovation and choice is expected in today’s fast-paced world.” Given our reputation for pioneering mobility solutions, the Shell App serves as a critical component in elevating experiences for all of Shell’s clients,” she told reporters during the app’s debut here today.
According to Seow, the Shell App is also connected with BonusLink, allowing customers to collect points from 3,000 shops while redeeming Shell unique prizes.
She stated that the app may construct a personalised offer based on customers’ regular preferences to enhance their experiences at Shell, recognizing the demand for value-for-money bespoke deals and promotions.
She said that the Shell App can track every expenditure and BonusLink point gained, as well as locate the nearest Shell station with facilities and services.
