With the introduction of “Rajmargyatra,” a citizen-centric unified mobile application, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has made tremendous progress toward improving the highway user experience. This user-friendly app, which can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store, provides travelers with in-depth knowledge of Indian National Highways as well as an effective procedure for handling complaints. Currently, the app is only available in English and Hindi.
The Rajmargyatra App’s main attributes are:
- Access to comprehensive highway information, including current weather reports, timely broadcast notifications, and information on nearby toll booths, gas stations, hospitals, motels, and other necessary facilities that guarantee a smooth and safe drive on national roads
- No-hassle complaint resolution: Users may easily report problems with the highway and attach geo-tagged videos or images for more clarity. Users can keep track on the progress of their complaints for total openness.
- Seamless FASTag Services: It connects its services with several bank portals to make it simple for users to recharge their FASTags, obtain monthly passes, and access other FASTag-related banking services all on one platform.
- Voice help and notifications for over speeding to promote responsible and safe driving.
