Examples of these companies are Puma, which introduced a Metaverse platform where consumers could purchase shoes, and Etsy, which provided an augmented reality shopping experience called The Etsy Home, which featured carefully
chosen products that could be bought. Industry insiders told Insider that XR-based marketing efforts are contributing to the resolution of some of the major marketing problems, such as personalizing campaigns, scaling consumer events, and reaching
and retaining a worldwide audience.
