CyberPeace and USI Host Cyber First Responder & AI Safety Workshop in India
CyberPeace and USI cyber first responder workshop initiatives are gaining importance as India strengthens its cyber resilience in the age of artificial intelligence. CyberPeace, in collaboration with the United Service Institution of India (USI), recently hosted a specialized workshop titled “Cyber First Responder & AI Safety” to enhance national cybersecurity preparedness.
CyberPeace and the United Service Institution of India (USI) organized the workshop as a capacity-building initiative ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The program brought together cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, defense experts, law enforcement officials, and technology practitioners.
The workshop focused on incident response frameworks, digital forensics fundamentals, cyber threat intelligence, and AI safety in cybersecurity. Experts also examined emerging risks such as deepfakes, AI-driven cyberattacks, and large-scale misinformation campaigns.
A major emphasis was placed on the Cyber First Responder concept, which trains frontline professionals to act quickly during cyber incidents. Faster response times help minimize damage to critical infrastructure and digital systems.
As discussed during the sessions, responsible AI deployment is essential as artificial intelligence becomes embedded in defense, governance, and civilian applications. This initiative aligns closely with broader India cybersecurity policy efforts and public-private collaboration.
The workshop concluded with a call for continuous training, stronger institutional cooperation, and sustained focus on building a secure and resilient digital ecosystem in India.
