Think & Built Bigger Faster Better

Remakes and remasters of video games are both crucial to our culture, yet they are fundamentally distinct from one another. Which is precisely why, before we continue, I’d like to clarify the specific differences:

Remakes of games are a fantastic possibility in VR!  But only because Diablo II has aged incredibly well. However, not all games experience this because some are merely products of their period.

What about other games, though, that have not precisely aged like great wine but are nonetheless influential and significant to gaming culture? So a virtual reality recreation seems like a match made in heaven.

Did you know that back in the day, we switched to CD-ROM technology thanks to The 7th Guest (and Myst)? That is correct! This game gained enormous popularity not just because of its gameplay and technological innovations, but also because it was a progressive use of the medium.

Therefore, in a way, it only makes logical that the remake will be in virtual reality (VR), which is likely to be the next big thing in both gaming and other industries.

Additionally, the game’s fundamental design is ideal for conversion to virtual reality. This is precisely the kind of experience that works incredibly well on the virtual reality platform. The original was something reminiscent of an interactive movie at moments.

And based on how the teaser appears, this is essentially what we can anticipate from the remake as well.
