AWS Amplify adds tools for visual development
AWS Amplify Studio provides developers with a visual interface to build complete web and mobile applications with a cursor and click.
Amazon Web Services makes AWS Amplify Studio widely available. AWS Amplify Studio, a visual development interface for AWS Amplify, is designed to simplify front-end and back-end development for web and mobile applications.
The point-and-click visual development environment extends the AWS Amplify toolkit for building web and mobile applications, allowing developers to visually create back-ends and front-ends and incorporate AWS services such as authentication, real-time data, and file storage. With Amplify Studio, developers can build complete applications in hours, according to AWS. For the frontend, developers can draw on dozens of pre-built React UI components and can customize the components.
Developers can get started with AWS Amplify Studio through the product website. Amplify Studio has been in preview since December. The generally available version adds features such as support for UI event handlers, theme components, and improvements to the extension and customization of built-in components. Figma design platform integration allows developers and designers to collaborate on application user interfaces. Developers can import new component designs from Figma into their Amplify Studio application. Developers can also use AWS Amplify Hosting Services, a CI/CD platform for web applications.
